Earthenware is a clay-based ceramic coated with opaque enamel which gives it its smooth, shiny finish. It is fired at lower temperatures than porcelain, making it less dense and more porous. You will find it throughout all our second-hand tableware items in the categories plates, dishes or even the pitchers
