Description

Superb black marble notary clock, 19th century, from the Napoleon III era, with a mercury pendulum. It works when it is given a push and then stops. It would need a slight adjustment. The front glass is beveled. Stylized plant decoration enhanced in gold. Very heavy, delivery should be avoided if possible; otherwise, please ask me. There is a small chip on each side of the marble; it measures 42cm long by 40cm high. A beautiful piece.
