Heavy, fairly thick paste, dense white enamel with a slight gray tint and opaque, some firing imperfections (bubbles and marks from the kiln), and enamel issues (thickness), a bit of wear, and enamel jumps on the edges, see the last photos. No signature as is customary.
It is authentic and dates from the revolutionary period (slightly gray enamel and marks from the kiln).
The rim is classically decorated with stylized garlands.
It depicts the taking of the Bastille. I have attached a photo of a similar plate, almost identical, for sale at an antique dealer.
As you can see, this plate is in very good condition, with a few enamel jumps on the edges. No cracks or hairlines. Two spots of friable dirt at 12 o'clock and 7 o'clock, but I didn't dare to scrape.
It is sold with its wall plate holder.
