Decorative bowl / fruit bowl / vintage centerpiece, made of multicolored glazed ceramic, dating from mid-century, from California, around the 1960s. The piece features a beautiful glaze and a very original design, combining spiral, circular, and rectangular shapes, with some engraved lines (see photos). The main color of the bowl is brown, the rectangular shapes are green and gold, and the spirals, circles, edges, and engraved lines showcase shades of blue, black, and white (see photos). The piece is overall in very good condition, original and vintage, with slight marks, signs of age, and prior use proportionate to time, throughout the piece (see photos). There is a tiny mark of use on the edge and a small mark under the base (see photos). There are a few areas of slightly less glossy glaze on the green rectangular shapes in the center, as well as a few small areas of brown glaze underneath, which seem to have been intentional or natural (see photos). A very beautiful decorative piece, ideal for collectors of mid-century vintage California pottery and ceramics.
