Very beautiful pair of traditional handmade maracas, made from natural gourd and entirely hand-painted, of Mexican origin.

Each maraca is decorated with stylized floral patterns in vibrant colors – red, turquoise, and white – characteristic of Mexican folk art from the 1960s–1970s. The slight variations between the two pieces are a testament to authentic handcrafted production, making this set unique.

The maracas are fully functional: the sound is present, clear, and rhythmic, thanks to their natural filling (seeds). They can be used as a percussion instrument but also fit perfectly as decorative objects in a bohemian, ethnic, or artist's home setting.
