PIERRE GUARICHE MAHOGANY VENEER DESK 2 PEDESTALS OPENING BY 6 DRAWERS L1990 This mahogany veneer desk was designed by Pierre Guariche, it is composed of two boxes opening by six drawers connected by a spacer bar in black lacquered metal, all resting on four legs straight connected by spacer bars in black lacquered metal. Pierre Guariche, a visionary designer, knew how to bring a functionalist dimension to furniture without ever forgetting the aesthetic approach. He was keen to meet the needs of his time by using mass production processes. His creations have become legendary pieces such as the Tonneau chair (1953 and 1954), the Tulip chair (1956) or the President desk (1961). The desk is in fair general condition with pronounced patina wear on the top, we report rubbing and scratches from use on the facades, wear and pitting on the paint on the handles, a more pronounced scratch on one side with more significant friction on an angle, stains and scratches on the top. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Feel free to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Height: 74 cm Width: 151 cm Depth: 75 cm Width for the armchair: 57.5 cm P: 1018408 I remain at your disposal for any questions.
