MADONNA AND CHILD IN 18TH C EARTHENWARE NOTRE DAME DE BON SECOURS NEVERS M1338 This Virgin is from the 18th century, no doubt, it is old, authentic. It is probably the factory of Nevers. The Blessed Virgin Mary of Help, also called (the) Succurre Miseris or simply Our Lady of Good Help (or Good Help), or of Perpetual Help, is one of the names by which the Catholic Church as well as the Orthodox Churches venerate the Virgin Mary, Theo Tokos, mother of Jesus Christ according to her human nature. For enthusiasts, it is presented unrestored. There are accidents, here they are. We report lacks on the crown of the Virgin, jumps at the base and stains in places, a lack of paint on the nose of the Virgin. Note cooking holes in various places. However, it remains in an acceptable state for an 18th century Virgin. Our many photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the state thank you for detailing the photos.
