Superb set of 5 plates dating from the 19th century. This iron clay model is called iris and was made by the famous French pottery st amandinoise (signature in stamp and hollow iron clay on 4 backs). The plates are decorated in red and represent a bouquet of irises laced with ribbon and accented with other flowers. They are overall in very good condition and offer a magnificent patina due to their age! Note a trace on the back of one which must come from the manufacture as well as a small chip on another.
