Christian Jacques Boullaire (1893-1976) is a French designer, engraver and painter. He has illustrated numerous works by carrying out different types of engravings (wood, burins, drypoints, etchings, lithographs, etc.). In 1959, Jacques Boullaire was appointed official painter of the Navy. In 1992, the Salon de la Marine, which took place at the National Maritime Museum in Paris, paid tribute to him.
