Stunning large ceramic vase from German manufacturer Carstens Tönnieshof, model Europa, produced in West Germany in the 1960s-70s. An iconic piece of fat lava design, featuring a spectacular deep red decor with black undertones and a very graphic rope relief, characteristic of the Europa series. The marking under the base confirms the model 7740-50, corresponding to this cylindrical shape and its impressive height of 50 cm.
