Pretty biscuit tin aged by time, with lithographed metal on the lid, crafted in curves and relief with garlands of flowers, scrolls, ram's heads, and cartouches on each side relating to the bucolic work represented, "La Pastorale" (1737-1738) by François Boucher, 18th-century painter. It had a lock, but the piece is missing.
It is indicated underneath, in a small oval: "box imported from Belgium."
In the cartouche on the back, it was originally written "Published by alsa Nancy" (visible on similar boxes).
