Very beautiful large pot in painted, glazed and cracked terracotta, handcrafted, vintage, with its lid. Body of the light blue top pot with dark blue stylized fish patterns, light yellow bottom with dark blue starfish patterns. White/beige lid with dark blue geometric patterns. Approximately 22cm tall with lid, 16cm without, 14cm in diameter. Interior earth red transparent varnish. Unsigned. Good general condition, no cracks, some light marks of time on the body and the lids, quite discreet. However, the upper rim of the pot bears quite present signs of wear, in particular on one side (the other being quite clean), lack of paint and visible red earth varnish, marks of old paint (it had been repainted) , the lid also shows signs of wear on the rim but they are much lighter, a painted shine, not very visible. These defects are part of its patina, it is nonetheless a very pretty piece of craftsmanship and relatively uncommon. About 1kg.
