Beautiful and wide communication door measuring 96cm by 219cm (and 3.2cm thick), with an antique glass transom, featuring a frame whose vertical elements "extend" 20cm above the transom, the top was "inserted" at ceiling level, with the possibility of inserting bricks or a panel above the transom to maintain its full height. Adaptable in height according to its frame, a light sanding, a staining according to your tastes and interior, it is ready to be installed! All from the 19th century, Haussmannian style, molded identically on both sides. The carpentry assembly is classic with flat panels, mortise and tenon joints, and dowels. Fine and elegant moldings in the door frame, replicated on the frames. Solid and substantial carpentry, door thickness of 3.2cm, frame of 50mm, and frame with moldings nearly 10cm thick. The molded frame measures 119cm by 272cm (from the top of the painted frame to the bottom of the skirting boards). The upper part of the door is glazed, the 2 translucent printed glass panes are not exactly identical but are still very similar. This door and its carefully disassembled frame are originally painted, not warped, the door closes properly, and despite a few rare scuffs visible in the photos, they are in very good condition, disassembled and stored safely. We have screwed a board (unpainted) at the bottom simply to maintain squareness. This door comes with its lock (we do not have the key...) and white porcelain handles. The first two photos show the front and back of the door. Due to its width, it meets current standards for accessibility for disabled persons. The set comes from a bourgeois house in the Lyon region; for your information, we have in stock 9 other similar communication doors, the same moldings (non-glazed and narrower), with their glazed transom and frame, and two other identical without a transom (see our other products). Total dimensions: 295cm high, 122cm wide, and 9.5cm deep. Ref: 196
