Description

This large free-form bowl measures 42 cm long by 20 cm wide. The surface features textural work with pronounced reliefs and traces of shaping in the mass. The decoration comes in glazed shades of turquoise and emerald with shiny reflections. The raw pyritic stoneware reverse has structural reinforcement ribs typical of large handmade workshop pieces. A cursive signature is incised into the clay, but I have not identified it. Perfect condition.
