Superb rare 1960's coffee table by French designer Hugues Poignant, oval in shape, the thick tinted glass of 12mm rests on a design base made of rosewood veneer.
In good general condition, with some signs of use on the glass and base consistent with its age and use.
The glass has no chips or cracks, just 2 marks of a few cm, more or less visible depending on the angle.
