Beautiful round fluted or melon-shaped dish from the Nevers Montagnon manufacture. Signed GM for Gabriel Montagnon Decor Rouen. Late 19th century. This lovely melon dish can be hung (its hook is still available), serve as a centerpiece, or be a nice fruit or paper basket. The handles are represented by fish in slipware. Lots of elegance and craftsmanship in this lovely dish. In good condition with a small defect shown in a close-up photo, a piece of enamel that has been reattached. Dimensions: diameter: 34cm height: 8cm Country of origin: France
