Pair of HB Quimper bookends by Berthe Savigny, seated children M3696 This pair of enamelled earthenware bookends features two young people from Brittany seated. They are in superb condition, with a small chip on the young man's hat. Berthe Savigny (1882-1958) was a French sculptor and painter, and her works mainly consist of babies and ceramic statues. In 1927, the Great HB House of Quimper published several of her creations.
