Made of "terre de feu" glazed earthenware, this saucepan charms with its delicately nuanced light mauve tone and its wavy lines characteristic of Vallauris craftsmanship, notably evoking the work of Jean Austruy.
The glaze exhibits beautiful variations, evidence of artisan firing.
The signature is not visible due to traces of flames under the piece, marks from the kiln that are part of its history and authenticity.
