Pair of 19th century engravings that can form a pendant representing the fetus of the woman on the one hand and the fetus of the monkey on the other. These engravings are probably the work of Jacques Barrabaud (1767 - 1809) and were very probably extracted from the work of Pierre André Latreille, natural history of monkeys (1801). Each of the engravings is presented under glass, 15 x 22.5 for one and 12.5 x 17 for the other.
