EBONITE FRAME XIXTH NAPOLEON III JAPANESE DECOR ON RICE PAPER C4280Here is a nice little ebonite frame from the XIXth century, it is Napoleon III. This is an Asian drawing on rice paper. Unfortunately, the drawing is very uneven, note gaps and tears, stains, freckles and yellowing on the paper. We report oxidation on the back of the frame.
