Very beautiful earthenware figure of St Clement, old (1930s) depicting a gazelle, a deer or a llama (?) standing in foliage, totally art deco, burgundy color. By Charles Lemanceau (1905-1980) but not signed or stamped by the latter (the style leaves little room for doubt, however), apart from the St Clément France stamp and a number. 25cm high at the top of the ears, about 27cm long and 5cm deep. Very good general condition given its age, no chips or cracks, a few small grains in the material, original. This figure is quite common in beige and found in green but rare in burgundy. About 1kg.
