Description

Enhance your decor with this remarkable and authentic duo of artistic ceramic vases, originating from the famous artisanal productions of the village of Coulobres (Hérault).

Created during the 1960s/1970s, this set perfectly embodies the return to earthy materials and the sunny hues of the South of France. This characterful lot consists of an elongated pitcher-flower holder with a graphic handle and a majestic amphora-shaped vase with two curvy side handles.

Each piece features a high-end shiny glaze in a particularly bright yellow ochre/mustard hue.

The neck, upper lip, and handles are enhanced with a contrasting dark brown glaze with deep reflections, typical of the craftsmanship from the Coulobres workshops.

The artisan's signature is clearly engraved by hand under the base.

An ideal set for collectors of retro pottery or to structure a sideboard. Characteristics and Dimensions: • Origin: Coulobres (South of France) - Signed under the base • Era: Circa 1960/1970 (Mid-Century Modern Style) • Material: High-gloss artistic ceramic • Dimensions of the pitcher: Length 15 cm × Width 13 cm × Height 22 cm • Dimensions of the amphora: Diameter 21 cm × Height 28 cm • Condition: Superb vintage conservation state.
