Very good original drawing from the 1850s representing the Échelles tunnel to be identified. Located on the former national road 6, the Échelles tunnel connects Lyon to Chambéry. Although situated in the municipality of Saint-Christophe, it more precisely links the towns of Saint-Thibaud-de-Couz and Échelles, in the Savoie department (73), just a few kilometers from Isère (38).
