Charming double candlestick in glazed ceramic from Vallauris, probably made in the 1960s. The piece features a very sculptural shape with two arms designed to hold candles and a central openwork element evoking a stylized flame.
The whole rests on a base decorated with the inscription "Fontaine de Vaucluse," reminiscent of the typical souvenir productions from the region. The glaze shows beautiful deep brown and bright orange hues with characteristic drips that are typical of many ceramics from Vallauris during this period.
The object has a strong decorative presence and can be used as a candlestick or as a vintage decorative item.
