Magnificent showcase library Napoleon III in mahogany and brass marquetry from the 19th century. It is in good condition with just a few small missing inlays on the right side and 2 small missing rods at the bottom of the base on the front. There are 2 missing rods, one on each side of the top frieze, and one missing on the left side rod at the bottom (plinth) on the left side, as well as a missing small rod at the bottom (plinth). It has 3 levels of adjustable shelves by rack and pinion. It has its key and beautiful marquetry on the doors. The top shelf does not seem to be original; there was likely a marble.
