RENE PROU MAX INGRAND COFFEE TABLE GOLDEN BASE INCLUSION 1950 L455 This table can be attributed to René Prou and Max Ingrand in collaboration.The base is reminiscent of a work of René Prou, it is a wrought iron worked, patinated and gilded with a nice movement .The plate is of an important quality, it is a very thick glass slab with a work of inclusion inside (decoration of birds and floral decoration) .The glass does not have important accidents, some lack of polychromy discoloration. This table has not been touched, it was intentionally left nature as true collectors can appreciate. It has a very beautiful look, the base is of quality. Attention we do not affirm that it is is René Prou or Max Ingrand but in any case the technique and the materials make us think of these artists.Note wear in the decor.Beware our furniture is sold unrestored, unprepared, we must accept the defects due to age .However we will not do delivery by post for this type of too fragile item but we work with carriers please come back with us for a quote.They are perfect for informed individuals, merchants, collectors.Max Ingrand, born December 20, 1908 in Bressuire and died on August 25, 1969 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, is a French master glassmaker and decorator, one of the most famous of the post-war period with Pierre Lardin and Robert Pansart.René Prou, born in 1887 in Nantes, who died in Paris in 1947, is a French interior designer. His numerous creations designed specifically for the most beautiful mobile and still places will make him one of the main artists of the Art Deco movement and the Art of Travel. The historian and specialist Anne Bony1 declares about him: "I am attached to this character, his sober elegance, his taste for color and his independence of mind ...". Always concerned about the comfort of the user, he decorates without adorning, and refutes the modernist theories of his time which he considers too far removed from his idea of comfort.
