SCANDINAVIAN BOOMERANG CHANDELIER TEAK OPALINE 1960 LOUIS KALFF L1258 This boomerang chandelier is typical of Scandinavian furniture from the 1960s.Louis KALFF (1897-1976) was a graphic designer and a great Dutch designer of the 20th century. He is seen as one of the pioneers of industrial design. Kalff is the designer of the iconic and timeless Z table lamp produced by Philips in 1955. He is at the origin of the great success of the range of lighting from the famous household appliance company. Unfortunately, we report friction and scratches on the wood, the fixing cover is broken. You will notice black marks on the frosted glass of one bell, a lack of polish on one of the bells and a through crack on another. However, it remains in overall good condition. We are selling this unrestored chandelier, the sockets need to be changed, the electricity needs to be reviewed for safety issues. Please note our furniture is sold unrestored, unprepared, defects due to age must be accepted. However, we will not deliver by post for this type of item that is too fragile, but we work with carriers, please contact us for a quote. For the state thank you for detailing the photos.
