Rare, very beautiful small bust of the Virgin with a halo, handcrafted ceramic, glazed, vintage/antique from the 1930s-1940s. Art Deco style, engraved under the base "France," reminiscent of the style of productions from Turin during the same period. White ceramic, cream glaze, large halo and golden veil. Gentle face, closed eyes, small nose, and small mouth, thin eyebrows. 23cm maximum height, 18cm maximum width, approximately 12cm maximum depth. In nice condition, patinated gilding, some worn reliefs, a few chips, 3 at the bottom left on the veil, 1 at the top back of the halo, 1 at the bottom left at the back, a few discreet small ones on the edge of the halo at the front, 1 at the bottom left, some small ones at the top, and a few others on the right. Overall discreet, does not alter the object. Approximately 1.2kg.
