It bears the signature "de Possesse", probably for Albin François de Possesse, born in 1888. The bronze is very geometric, very 1930. It represents a crouching woman, her hands crossed, it is entitled "La Surprise". It is beautifully crafted with a nice carving, lovely details especially in the hair. The quality is there.
