Description
Superb animal sculpture in bronze signed on the marble, by Jules Moigniez (1835-1894). 19th century, depicting a hunting dog, Setter, at the foot of a rabbit hidden under a fern. Very fine work by this artist, who was fond of hunting themes. In excellent condition, it measures 14cm in length (including the marble) and approximately 10cm in height. Base in marble and quartz.
