This ancient Berber terracotta salad bowl is a piece crafted by hand using the traditional coil technique. The object features a rich interior decoration filled with protective symbols, including Khamsas (hands of Fatima) and stylized fibulas, painted with natural mineral oxides. Its ancestral craftsmanship is confirmed by the carbon nuances visible on the back, indicating artisanal cooking in an open pit. The surface has been burnished with stone to achieve a satin finish without the use of chemical varnish. Ideal for ethnic decoration or as a serving dish for dry foods.
