This stool, with its strongly and elegantly curved legs, is easily recognizable by the way its legs are assembled. No label or stamp. Made between 1880 and 1905 at the "Veuve Lebrun" chair factory in Saint Loup sur Semouse (Haute-Saône), which was one of the most important French chair factories after Baumann. Its location near the Saône, a navigable waterway, allowed it to supply Lower Burgundy and Lyon. Seat height: 46.5 cm, seat diameter: 37 cm. Color: slightly patinated Empire Black.
