Ceramic Bust Art Nouveau 1900 Royal Dux Bohemia M3679 This ceramic bust was made by Royal Dux. The Royal Dux factory, a porcelain brand from Bohemia, distinguished itself in the early 20th century with its Art Nouveau style productions. Around 1900, this important manufacturer created vases, figurines, often of feminine subjects, with exuberant decorations of flowers, leaves on shell-shaped or fountain bases... The porcelain was left in biscuit form, gilded or painted, often in green. This ceramic is typical of Art Nouveau, especially for its plant-like and "noodle" aspects.
