Charming Art Deco tea/coffee service, made of Limoges porcelain.
Piece from the 1930s, originating from the France Unique factory (1880-1962).
Beautiful white porcelain with a design featuring stylized plant motifs in blue, lavender, pink, and ochre tones, with gold trim.
The shape of the pieces is typical of the Art Deco style: geometric and fluid, with the base of hexagonal shape rising into a rounded form.
Dimensions:
- Teapot: height 23 cm – width 12 cm – width with handles and spout 26 cm
- Sugar bowl: height 15 cm – width 10 cm – width with handles 17 cm
- Creamer: height 11.5 cm – width 7.5 cm – width with handles 13.5 cm
Condition: Surface well shiny, colors of the decoration vibrant. Impeccable porcelain, except for 2 micro-chips at the bottom of the sugar bowl and creamer that are hardly visible (see close-up photo), and the gold decoration is patinated in places. Other irregularities are original, ensuring the authenticity of old handmade pieces: fold in the chromo, small streak of gilding, etc.
