Beautiful antique wash jug or pitcher, in white earthenware from the 1900s, slightly bluish glazing, marked Pexonne FF, France. Bulbous body, high serpent-head handle, large rounded spout. 22cm in height, 19.5cm in maximum width with handle, about 16cm in maximum diameter. In good condition, earthenware cracked from use and time, cracking slightly tinted, nice patina of age. A few small discreet stains and a small chip under the foot as well as a subtle manufacturing crack. Approximately 930g.
