Beautiful pair of antique chairs in Spanish Renaissance style, late 19th century
Characteristic elements of this period:
- made of dark solid wood, probably walnut
- with turned baluster posts;
- the backrest and seat are upholstered in embossed leather, decorated with scrolls, foliage, and rosettes,
- the ornamental nailheads are made of patinated gilded brass, highlighting the backrest and the edge of the seat.
