Antique glazed stoneware bed warmer, late 19th century (circa 1870–1900).
Beautiful old utilitarian piece in salt-glazed earthenware in a cream/light gray shade. Originally intended to hold hot water, it now perfectly fits as a decorative object: soliflore vase, ikebana composition, wabi-sabi decoration, or curiosity cabinet.
Very good overall condition: no cracks or chips. Small enamel defect on one side. Presence of a remaining cork stopper inside.
Beautiful patina and visible turning marks under the base.
