I am selling this set of 4 antique wooden chairs with woven straw seats.
- Dark varnished wood structure
- Old-fashioned woven straw seats with some cut or frayed straw strings (courtesy of a young cat)
Dimensions: total height 86 cm - backrest height 42 cm - width at the highest point 42 cm - seat height 44 cm - width at the widest 36 cm x depth 32 cm
- Backrest with 3 slightly curved rungs
- 1 square rung at the front and 1 at the back
- 2 round rungs on each side
The chairs are not stackable.
They are quite light, perfectly stable, and sturdy.
The legs have protections: 2 of the chairs have old-fashioned silence caps which are metal tips, the other 2 have rubber tips.
In satisfactory condition; the wood can be revived for a shine or repainted for a more modern style; the seats require a bit of renovation but are still very comfortable.
These rustic-style chairs can bring an authentic and country touch to a kitchen, dining room, or can be lined up in an entrance.
