Authentic "ball" shaped teapot from the famous English manufacturer James Dixon and Sons (Sheffield). Origin: England, Victorian era (19th century). Material: "Britannia Metal" (high-quality tin alloy, typical of Sheffield silverware). Model number 1794. Overall in good condition. Very nice rounded lines with its original turned blackened wood handle and knob. Ideal for charming decor, curiosity cabinet style or for a collector of English tableware.
