Superb and ancient engraving of Louis Philippe from the 18th century, the father of the future king "Louis-Philippe". This is Louis Philippe Joseph, born in 1747, Duke of Orleans, cousin of Louis XVI, who voted for the king's death but was also guillotined. He is known as "Philippe Egalité". It is in very good condition, magnificent, and of nice size. It has a few stains at the bottom (see photos). It is dated 1786. The frame measures 59 cm wide by 79 cm high, and the engraving measures 51 cm wide by 71 cm high. Type: Engraving. Features: Framed. Theme: Character.
