An antique cigar lighter in gilded bronze in the form of a satyr smoking a large cigar. This is a bronze figure from the 19th century, finely cast and sculpted. The head features a reservoir that, once filled with oil, can be used to light a cigar from a burning wick-shaped cigar in the satyr's mouth. The satyr figure rests on a base with three hooves. The underside shows a foundry made of several elements, screwed together, which is typical of decorative molded objects from this era.
