1 octagonal plate in fine earthenware from Montereau. Dates from the early 19th century, specifically from the period of the Lebeuf & Millet factory, which spans from 1819 to 1840.

The decoration represents the scene where the questor P. Magius, besieged by the Romans, reproaches the Campanians for their cowardice and betrayal.

He is a figure of the resistance of Capua against the Romans during the Second Punic War.

This scene is part of a series of plates titled "Series of Fables of Antiquity," produced by the Montereau factory.
