Very pretty basketwork box, origin Indonesia, Philippines, mid 20th century. It is a very fine basketwork that reflects a high quality know-how. The careful choice of plant fibers and the shape associated with this creation give it a beautiful aesthetic. The lid is surmounted by a carved wooden medallion depicting a frog. In good condition.
