Watercolor on paper recto verso Photographe by Suzanne Pegeaud Deva A6279 This watercolor represents a photographer and on the reverse an old man with a pipe. No artist's signature. However, it comes from a set of drawings that belonged to this artist. Having had several works by this painter, I confirm that it is indeed the artist. Regarding the condition, note some slightly yellowed places, wear on the edges and corners, stains, traces of handling, uneven edge, However, the colors have remained fresh. Suzanne PEGEAUD-DEVA was born in Paris on March 19, 1910 and died on March 19, 1973. She was a pupil of Yves Brayer, and more particularly, the Massière of his workshop in the Grande Chaumière for about fifteen years. She exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne since 1957.
