JOEL ROUGIE was born on April 8, 1957 in Cholet, After studying at the Fine Arts of Angers, he joined the famous Vocreschensky workshop, and there perfected his drawing, composition, and the use of material. His work was then spotted by Galeries Parisiennes, notably Wally Findlay, Avenue Matignon, and for which he exhibited in New York, Chicago, and Miami.
