Kay Bojesen (1886 1958) is a Danish goldsmith and designer, known for his wooden figurines, including the famous monkey drawn in 1951. In 1906, Kay Bojesen began working for the Danish goldsmith Georg Jensen, whose style influenced his first works. In 1922 he began to design small wooden toys representing animals and other figures with movable limbs. He also created many children's furniture, jewelry and tableware.
