RELIQUARY XIXth RELICS MARGUERITE MARIE ALACOQUE M666 This reliquary is from the XIXth century, it is beaded gilded brass. This reliquary is untouched, it bears its wax seal, a sign that it has not been opened as a guarantee for true amateurs. Marguerite Alacoque, in religion Sister Marguerite-Marie, born July 22, 1647 in Verosvres, a small village in Burgundy and died October 17, 1690 in Paray-le-Monial, was a nun of the Order of the Visitation, mystic and inspirer of the cult of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and recognized as holy by the Catholic Church. We note wear of the gilding, pitting and a little verdigris on the gilded metal, dirt on the decoration of the relic. A stamp is to be identified on the back. The general condition remains fair. We did a rough cleaning. Sold as found, untouched. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. The photos are an integral part of the description.
