Lithograph by Henri Rivière Entrance to the Port of Ploumenac'h - The Beautiful Country of Brittany A5303 Lithograph "Entrance to the Port of Ploumenac'h - The Beautiful Country of Brittany" by Henri Rivière. It is signed and bears a monogram with a red stamp at the bottom right. This lithograph is authentic and old. We report for this lithograph a diagonal fold from right to left, a trace of ink at the bottom horizontally, the two top corners are dog-eared, at the bottom left several creases or folds. These defects are better seen on the back. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. However, the condition of this lithograph is largely acceptable, the colors have remained fresh. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcut, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
