Porcelain from Saxony, Karl ENS Karl ENS was born and died in Lauscha, Germany, 1802- November 5, 1865. In 1790, Johann Karl ENS (1759-1813) founded a porcelain factory with his brothers. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the company specialized in making animals (birds, dogs, butterflies and fish). Most of the collection, which includes more than 400 models, concerns birds.
