For Émile Tessier Émile Tessier - Faëncier Patron - Malicorne-sur-Sarthe - France Malicorne is located in the south-west of the Sarthe department, and has had the reputation of being a land of earthenware and sandstone since the 18th century. In 1924, Emile Tessier founded the Faïenceries d'Art de Malicorne and quickly imposed the innovative technique of openwork in his workshops, quickly making his productions famous. The decorations of the pieces take up the classic and traditional motifs of the great French and European earthenware factories.
